West Bridgford Joinery collaborated with Bolthole Design on this beautiful Derbyshire home, crafting bespoke joinery that balances considered design with everyday practicality. Every piece was manufactured in-house and finished in painted oak veneer, creating a cohesive, elegant aesthetic throughout the space.

Living and dining spaces

In the dining room, bespoke cabinetry frames a striking piano. Surface Studio’s oak fluted Roma profile was used for cabinet doors and shelving back panels, adding texture and depth, alongside custom bench seating and integrated storage.

The living room features modular cabinetry and a low-level media unit, delivering generous storage while maintaining a clean, contemporary look.

Smart storage, beautifully made

Thoughtful storage solutions run throughout the home. The study includes a bespoke desk with a Forbo architectural grade work surface, floating shelving and an acoustic felt wall panel to create a calm, functional workspace.

In the hallway, a bold orange shoe cabinet provides concealed storage with visual impact, while the bootroom is fitted with fully bespoke painted and oak veneer cabinetry and wardrobes, designed to be both durable and elegant.

Calm, crafted bedroom spaces

The bedroom joinery was designed to create a sense of calm, featuring a custom upholstered headboard, bespoke bedside tables and a chest of drawers neatly integrated into the alcove. Each element makes efficient use of space while maintaining a serene, uncluttered feel.
