"My approach to design has been shaped by my artist's background. I first became interested in cabinetry whilst studying Fine Arts at Bath University. After graduating, I wanted to develop my skills in this area and was privileged to work alongside some of London's top cabinet-makers and specialist woodworkers.

In 2003, I moved to Nottingham and set up West Bridgford Joinery with the aim of designing and building unique and original furniture. My appreciation of artistry and the finer details of design is paramount in the company's work ethic. However, I believe that aesthetic design should be always combined with functionality and it is this approach that has become the driving force behind the business.
